The burning sensation in the stomach after eating food may be because of the ulcer developed in the stomach which is known as a stomach ulcer or peptic ulcer.

Stomach ulcers are caused because of overuse of painkillers, fasting, improper diet, no food at the proper time, over fried, and junk food.



There are some stomach ulcer cure home remedies by which you reduce the stomach ulcer pain and thereby cure peptic ulcer at home. 

In this post, I have explained foods to reduce stomach ulcer pain, and also foods that should not be taken if you have a burning sensation in the stomach.

What causes stomach ulcers or what causes peptic ulcers?

Stomach ulcers are painful sores that can be found in the stomach lining or small intestine. Stomach ulcer pain after eating.

Stomach ulcers are the most visible sign of peptic ulcer disease. 
They occur when the thick layer of mucus that protects your stomach from digestive juices is reduced, thus enabling the digestive acids to eat away at the lining tissues of the stomach.
Stomach ulcers are easily cured, but they can become severe without proper treatment.

How are stomach ulcers caused?

  • An infection with the bacterium Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori)
  • Long-term use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), such as aspirin and ibuprofen
  • Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, a rare disease that makes the body produce excess stomach acid

1)Flavonoids: 

Flavonoids are an effective treatment for stomach ulcers. Flavonoids are compounds that occur naturally in many fruits and vegetables. 

Foods and drinks rich in flavonoids include:
  • Soybeans
  • Legumes
  • Red grapes
  • Kale
  • Broccoli
  • Apples
  • Berries
  • Teas, especially green tea

2)Probiotics:

Probiotics are the living bacteria and yeast that help keep your digestive system moving. They are present in many common foods, particularly fermented foods. 
These include:
  • buttermilk
  • yogurt

3)Honey:

Honey can contain up to 200 elements, including polyphenols and other antioxidants. 
Honey is a powerful antibacterial and has been shown to inhibit Helicobacter pylori growth. 
As long as you have normal blood sugar levels, you can enjoy honey as you would any sweetener, with the bonus of soothing your ulcers.

4)Garlic:

Garlic extract has been shown to inhibit Helicobacter pylori growth in lab, animal, and human trials. 
Garlic acts as a blood thinner, so ask your doctor before taking it if you use warfarin (Coumadin) or other prescription blood thinners.

5)Cranberry:

Cranberry is known for its ability to fight urinary tract infections by preventing bacteria from settling on the walls of the bladder. Cranberry and cranberry extract also may help fight Helicobacter pylori. You can drink cranberry juice, eat cranberries, or take cranberry supplements.

6)Mastic gum:

If your ulcers are not responding to other treatments, you might want to give mastic gum a try, since it doesn’t seem to be associated with any side effects. You can chew the gum or swallow mastic in supplement form.

7)Fruits, vegetables, and whole grains:

A diet centered on fruits, vegetables, and whole grains is not just good for your overall health. According to several studies, a vitamin-rich diet can help your body heal your ulcer. Foods containing the antioxidant polyphenols can protect you from ulcers and help ulcers heal. 
Polyphenol-rich foods and seasonings include:
  • Dried rosemary
  • Mexican oregano
  • Dark chocolate
  • Blueberries
  • Black olives
